Aker Brygge (Bryggegata 9, Oslo) – this one-time shipyard is now a waterside shopping center, with over 60 retailers, and as many as 35 restaurants. Its culinary and entertainment options within this shopping center make it seem more like a small city than just another mall. For all intents & purposes, this unique sea-front boardwalk is one of Oslo’s main attractions, and more than 7,000 people live and work in the area.
The restaurants and bars have a combined 5,000 chairs, of which 2,500 are outside. The parking garage has room for 900 cars, and Aker Brygge’s Herbern Marina has room for 125 boats.
