Ibsen Museum

Ibsen Museum (Henrik Ibsen Gate 26, Oslo) – this museum includes a comprehensive exhibit featuring the playwright Henrik Ibsen’s life and work, as well as Ibsen’s private home, where he spent the last 11 years of his life.
The home of Henrik Ibsen and his wife Suzannah has been restored with the original furniture, fixtures, décor and colours. The library, dining room and parlors are open to the public when accompanied by museum guides. The study is the “crown jewel” of the museum.
Admission: NOK 85 (adult), NOK 60 (seniors & students), NOK 25 (children 6 years and above). Free for children under 6 years. Hours: 11 am – 6 pm (Mon. – Sat.) (May 15 – Sept. 14); 11 am – 4 pm (daily, except Thurs.: 11 am – 6 pm)(Sept. 15 – May 14).
