Korketrekkeren

Korketrekkeren (Frognerseteren, Oslo) – this winter sports spot, whose name is Norwegian for ‘corkscrew’, is a popular toboggan run (located next to the original bobsleigh run from the 1952 Olympics), which starts at Frognerseteren, and ends at Midtstuen metro train station. Since this is a public facility, admission is free. However, one must pay to rent sleds there (for NOK 80-10 for the day) – with the rental location being near Frognerseteren Restaurant. See its website for more details: www.akeforeningen.no.
